About W. Nathan
I’m a Physician Assistant providing mental health care with a strong focus on integrative, root-cause informed psychiatry. I have formal training and certification in Integrative Psychiatry through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, or a sense that something has been off for a long time. I value a thoughtful, nonjudgmental approach to care and take time to understand patterns rather than rushing to conclusions.

As a queer provider, I’m attentive to how identity, context, and lived experience shape mental health, and I offer affirming, nonjudgmental care.

Treatment philosophy & approaches
My approach to mental health care is integrative, pattern-based, and collaborative. I’m interested not only in symptoms, but in how and why those symptoms developed over time. Many people arrive in care having tried standard treatments without fully understanding what is driving how they feel. I aim to slow that process down and make it more coherent. Medication can be a useful tool, but I don’t approach it in isolation. I pay close attention to sleep, stress, nervous system regulation, lifestyle patterns, and the broader context of a person’s life when making treatment decisions. I focus on understanding patterns and building stability rather than chasing quick relief. I value shared decision-making and transparency. The goal is sustainable change that fits your life.
