Dr. Rashidat Akinsanya holds dual board certifications in Adult Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over ten years of experience managing adult medicine patients and over two years of experience in managing psychiatric patients. She is versed in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings. Dr. Akinsanya provides mental health services to clients across the life span, including medication management, psychiatric evaluations, competency evaluations, substance use disorder management, and crisis management. Dr. Akinsanya holds a Master's degree in Adult Nurse Practitioner from Johns Hopkins University, a Post Masters Psychiatric NP certification, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, both from Brandman University.
