Hi, I’m Matt Permuy, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe meaningful healing happens when mental and emotional wellbeing are given the same care and attention as physical health. My path into this work began in clinical research settings within hospitals and medical institutions, where I observed how often emotional experiences were overlooked despite their powerful role in healing. That experience shaped my commitment to supporting the whole person—mind, body, and lived experience.
I hold both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. My professional background includes work in nonprofit and community-based settings, where I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and the lasting effects of past experiences.
