Hi, I’m Kayla, the therapist behind Violet Poppy Therapy.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Wisconsin and California, and I created Violet Poppy as a space for people who are ready to go deeper, feel more connected to themselves, and move out of patterns that feel stuck.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed. I believe healing happens when you feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood — not rushed or “fixed.” I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and periods of feeling disconnected or overwhelmed.
One of the unique parts of my practice is my work in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and psychedelic integration. I view ketamine as a powerful tool when used intentionally and ethically — not a shortcut, but a way to access deeper insight and healing when traditional talk therapy alone hasn’t been enough.
