Dr. Kacey Cornell is a Doctoral prepared, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with expertise in direct primary care, pain management, and medical weight loss. She uses a functional perspective and is dedicated to treating each patient as a whole individual with specific medical and psychosocial needs. She believes that the direct care model is superior to traditional care models as it gives both patients and providers adequate time to spend on developing a therapeutic relationship and shared management goals.
Kacey obtained her undergraduate degree in Nursing from East Texas A&M University. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an aesthetic and emergency nurse in Dallas, Texas. She graduated with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Baylor University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau.
Kacey is a native Texan, and in her free time enjoys spending time with her husband and four boys, hiking or exploring outdoor activities.
