Hello! I'm Dr. Joseph Gomes, a dedicated family medicine physician based in Folsom, California. I’m proud to be the founder and Chief Medical Officer at Gomes Medical Corporation, a Direct Primary Care clinic where we prioritize strong, meaningful doctor-patient relationships. At our clinic, we offer various services like telemedicine and in-office visits, with an emphasis on comprehensive and personalized care, all for a flat monthly membership fee, ensuring you get the attention you deserve without the hassles of traditional insurance.

With my extensive background in both urgent and primary care, I focus on providing diverse medical services. We offer essential in-house testing for illnesses like flu and ear infections, and collaborate with trusted partners for lab work when necessary. Patients also enjoy special benefits, such as joint injections and B12 shots when needed, included in their membership.

As a physician, I’ve had the privilege of serving with the California State Athletic Commission, ensuring the well-being of athletes in combat sports. I've also guided medical students and residents as a faculty physician while practicing at The Permanente Medical Group.

My education journey began at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, followed by residency training in family medicine. I'm a proud member of various professional associations dedicated to advancing healthcare excellence, such as the American Academy of Family Physicians.
