About Gillian
I’m a therapist supporting children, teens, and families in feeling more connected, understood, and emotionally secure—especially during times of stress or transition. My work is rooted in attachment-based and trauma-informed care, focusing on the underlying emotional needs and relationship patterns behind behaviors.

I help clients navigate anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and family conflict, while also equipping parents with practical tools to strengthen connection at home. Using play-based, mindfulness, and experiential approaches, I create a safe, engaging space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.

My goal is to help families move from disconnection to stronger, more resilient relationships.

Treatment philosophy & approaches
My approach to therapy is attachment-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally attuned. I focus on understanding the “why” behind behaviors, helping clients feel safe enough to explore emotions, build insight, and create meaningful change. I integrate evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s needs, including play therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. With children and teens, I use creative, engaging approaches to support emotional expression and regulation. With parents and families, I provide guidance and practical tools to strengthen connection and improve communication. Therapy is collaborative and paced to each client’s readiness, with a focus on building emotional regulation, resilience, and secure attachment.
