Emmanuel is a Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). He attended College in Oklahoma, originally starting out as a Computer Information Systems major and later pivoting to nursing, having experienced firsthand, the impact that timely and quality care can have on a person.

Upon receiving his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007, Emmanuel spent a lot of years caring for patients with varying degrees of medical and psycho-social issues in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Throughout his experience in the ICU, Emmanuel observed that his patients needed psychiatric care as much as medical care for their full recovery.
In 2016, Emmanuel completed a graduate study in Advanced Practice Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, earning a PMHNP certification. Emmanuel diagnoses and treats different psychiatric conditions that includes, but not limited to ADD or ADHD, depression, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, dementia, substance use disorders
