Denayer is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in mental health care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University, her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner post-graduate degree from Maryville University, and she holds board certification through the ANCC. She has worked across a variety of settings including inpatient crisis units, psychiatric emergency departments, and IOP and outpatient clinics. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety and panic disorders, insomnia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use and addiction treatment. Additionally, she is a 20-year U.S. Army Reserve veteran, where she served on multiple humanitarian missions providing healthcare to underserved communities and was deployed to Iraq in 2003–2004 during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
