Andrew Kuiken, DMSc, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults across Florida. He founded Christian Psychiatry & Wellness to offer a different kind of psychiatric experience — one that is unhurried, collaborative, and respectful of each patient's values, faith, and goals.
Andrew takes a conservative, patient-centered approach to prescribing: starting low, titrating carefully, and acting quickly when something is not working. He has particular expertise in anxiety disorders, OCD, PMDD, peripartum care, and deprescribing for patients who feel over-medicated and want a second opinion or a fresh start.
He integrates faith into care for patients who desire it, approaching spiritual concerns with the same seriousness and respect as clinical ones. For patients who do not identify as Christian or religious, his care is equally attentive and judgment-free.
