Maria is a dedicated and certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 13 years of nursing experience. She obtained her MSN, FNP degree from Purdue University Global in 2019 and Board Certification through the American Academy of Family Nurse Practitioners. She has work experience in a Forensic Hospital in the State of California where she cares for patients with psychiatric instability. She also works at an in-patient Country Mental Health Facility where patients are admitted for a 5150 or 5250 hold and LPS conservatorship. In both places, she encounters and is able to treat adult patients who present with symptoms of ADHD, depression, and anxiety at the same time managing their medical conditions based on current guidelines and evidence-based practice.
