Hello, I’m Adrian Romo, a dedicated Marriage & Family Therapist licensed in both Nevada and California. At my practice, Happy Medium Counseling in Henderson, NV, I strive to improve mental health and reduce the suffering associated with mental illness.

If mental health were a soup, then mindfulness would be the water. A couple other key ingredients would be assertiveness and positivity. We all know that healthy boundaries are essential to mental health, but how can actually improve the healthiness of our boundaries? This is one of many questions we will explore in the process of deepening the relationship we have with ourselves, which is, incidentally, the MOST important relationship we can ever really have. Let us increase the LOVE we send towards our SELF!

With years of experience helping individuals, children, and families, I offer personalized and compassionate care. I’m fluent in English and speak Spanish (well enough to conduct a therapy session), making it easier to communicate effectively with my diverse clientele. At every step, I prioritize building a trusting relationship, ensuring my clients feel heard and understood.

I am especially passionate about helping clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD & or trauma. I am a firm believer in the power of positivity, mindfulness, and assertiveness/healthy boundaries. The encouragement is to utilize a mindset of ownership and accountability over victimization and blame. In short, your needs matter too!

My overall goal is to help you further develop your autonomy, which means increasing the love and respect you have for yourself.
