Hi, I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who specializes in medication management and psychotherapy for adults (18 – 65 years old). My areas of focus cover a vast array of mental illnesses, including but not limited to ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorder, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and insomnia.
As a thoughtful and patient individual, I am willing to spend time listening to what you choose to communicate in the most professional manner. In the process, you will be carefully and respectfully listened to as you convey your mental health challenges.
My approaches include but are not limited to, therapeutic communication and the use of open-ended questions to encourage you to share your concerns. We will work as a team to find the most appropriate treatment options for your symptoms.
My goal is to work with you to help you feel better about yourself and about life.
I completed my post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and also a post-master’s certificate in Nursing Education.
My passion for mental health is well-recognized via several awards I received from different organizations to which I have provided services. For example, I was invited to join and currently remain an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). I look forward to hearing from you.
