So, here's the thing, as someone with ptsd, ocd, and adhd, I typically am feeling very on guard about being myself. The world we live in gravitates towards comfort at all costs, which is why society struggles across the board.
With that said, Dr. Meltzer didn't make me feel paranoid. Actions speak louder than words because they accomplish things words are describing.
I'm not sure if I'll ever be a person without trust issues. It's what narcissist abuse does to the soul.
Nobody is perfect, but Dr. Meltzer helped me feel human, not alien. I am quite accustomed to feeling alien to the world because of adhd.
Maybe, Dr. Meltzer can cure my hurricane of feeling like a burden and "too much" to my culture, peers, and, worse, my family.
